Waterloo travelled to play new introduced side Heygreen to meet their toughest opponent so far this season! The game was about to get alot tougher aswell as Waterloo found themselves trailing midway inside the first half, a rocket of a strike came from the Heygreen forward was unstoppable for Richy but more unlucky for Waterloo as it was completely against the run of play!

The half also saw Will Todd going off threw injury. His 'back problem?' was too much for him to bare!? Being absolutely plastered the night before had nothing to do with it! Can i just also mention Mr Todd was spewing his ring in the good old classic car park, and it was HILARIOUS! to quote toddy on the way up there! - don't worry lads, I've got this switch inside me that i can just turn on when that whistle blows. yes toddy we saw the switch, and so did Adam!

A chance fell for Griffin as a ball from swifty played him in, Griffin did everything right but the keeper manged somehow to get the slightest of touches to JUST turn it round the post! However even with Waterloo coming into the half a goal behind, there was still plenty of positives from their football that they could take into the second half! especially with the pitch being that little bit nosier and we were far the better side!

The second half however was alot more even with big chances from both sides. We started to test the keeper, as they tried to increase their lead! however they couldn't as Waterloo found the equalizer through Paul Williams his first goal for the club. As a corner whipped in by Chris Cain was punted back out, Cain the took on their full back and played it to Bob Ball, who layed it to the screaming Williams, who was able to lift it up, beyond the keepers reach! 1-1 and it was all to play for!

chances now came from both sides as they were both dying to take the 3 points and the game was hotting up a bit, Mikey Mawdsley got a bit of abuse on the line as he had the flag! and yes he just had the flag and not the whistle this week. Mike got a bit annoyed because he could book the abuser! instead mike decided it would be better to try and throw the flag at him from 25 yards away! Yeh you guessed it ... he missed!

10 minutes later sumpter played Andy Swift in, only for Swifty to hit a rocket first time, it was flying to the top corner! But for the goal keeper who made one of the best saves i have ever seen! And for the interest of Statto aka Geoff Mc, we had a record recorded at the weekend! it was the shortest ever debut for Joe Loughlin he came on to find that he hadnt been put on the teamsheet. Sorry Joe but theres a record for ya!

Then down at the other end Waterloo showed their defensive quality as a scramble in the box gave Heygreen a chance to take the points, but for JK as he made a last ditch tackle, however the loose ball ran free to their other striker, and Davy Parr made a tackle for bally to clear for safety! The game finished 1-1 a fair result however we could have taken all 3 points!
